Charlie takes a little trip to Somerville this week. Michael Somerville, is a comedian, writer and host. Not bad for a guy who tried stand up simply because he was dared to get on stage. That would seem to be the end of it. But after moving to New York for an advertising job, and getting tired of shaving everyday, Michael decided to give performing another go.
You’ve probably seen Michael on TV or perhaps read something he’s written. He’s currently the writer and host of, WINGMAN, a series on the Fine Living Network. He also hosted Nick at Nite’s ROAD CREW and the Encore network’s, WHAT GUYS WANT. He’s also appeared on Comedy Central, VH1, Bravo and NBC. Aside from television, Michael Somerville also has a column in Glamour magazine called, “Jake: A Man’s Opinion.”
Somewhere in all of this, Somerville found time to release a comedy CD titled, WELCOME TO SOMERVILLE and is currently working on LOVE, SOMERVILLE, a web series with over a million views so far. Oh yeah, and he still tours the country doing stand-up. In fact, he was named one of the “10 Hottest NYC Comics to Watch” by Improper Magazine.
For more information on Michael Somerville, you can check out links for his website, Facebook and buying his CD below.

Clayton Fletcher is a Jack-of-all-trades. He’s a stand up comic, actor, musician and poker player. Clayton’s comedy is described as clean, witty and sarcastic. He’s performed for a variety of audiences all over the country and around the world. In fact, he tells us he’s quite popular in Sweden… like, Michael Jackson popular. He currently has his own weekend comedy show in New York called, THE CLAYTON FLETCHER SHOW, now in its second year.
Clayton’s father was a jazz musician and so Clayton himself started playing music at a pretty young age. He tells us about the odd looks he got as an 11 year-old showing up for professional gigs. Mr. Fletcher has a band called POKERFACE and an A Capella group called STACKIN’ FORTY-FIVES.
As an actor, Clayton says he’s been very blessed to get steady work and often got more strange looks from his acting friends when he’d complain about the job while they were bussing tables. He’s appeared in films and on TV shows like SEX AND THE CITY.
Clayton kicks it with us for an hour and shares some fun comedy stories, his love of poker and playing it professionally. And even debates Dennis on which city is more violent, Detroit or his hometown of Baltimore.
